Have you ever stood at the end of a long apartment hallway and wondered what goes on behind all those doors?  Closer Than Ever takes us down a metaphorical corridor and allows us to peek in on the complex and diverse lives of “people you never met who are not like you, who are just like you.”  This production is a riveting musical exploration of everyday struggles in life and love in the modern world, tackled with resounding sincerity and precisely placed hilarity.

Charming material presented charmingly and marvelously.

The show has become a cult classic, know for its adult-themed songs and dramatic yet hilarious take on the complexities of middle-aged life.
 – Backstage, June 18, 2012

It’s polished, witty, tuneful and, if you’ve hit middle age, unsettling.
